Kathryn served our realtor for both the purchase of our new home in the near suburbs and sale of our previous condo in the city. When our longtime realtors - also very close family friends - moved out of town, they referred us to Kathryn. They did so, because like a family friend, they felt Kathryn would look out for our best interest, give us practical guidance, provide caring honesty (even if its hard to hear!), and go the extra mile to ensure everything goes as smoothly as possible. Kathryn invested herself in our personalities, and tailored her work to suit our needs, approach, and tastes. She was also willing to ensure communications continued despite our crazy work schedules and constant travel. Ultimately, she helped us through a difficult personal decision to pass on a house we really liked but didn't make sense, and supported us throughout an unexpectedly long closing process on the home we decided to buy due to Winter weather. When it was time to sell our condo, her research on the market was realistic and thorough, and she guided us to a price we all felt was on target. While no realtor has control over the local market or who is out there looking, our house was priced just right. It sold just above asking with multiple offers and in less than two days. Throughout all of this, we always enjoyed her sense of humor and we feel like we have a new family friend in Kathryn. The worst part about the experience is that we don't have an excuse to bug her until we decide to move again.
