Glencoe's Chicago Botanic Garden is a special event to celebrate its collection of exotic orchids. Enjoy the other-worldly splendor of the garden's orchid display with fellow flower enthusiasts on Thursday, February 13th from 4 pm to 8 pm for "After-Hours at the Chicago Botanic Garden."
The Garden's more than 10,000 orchid blooms will be showcased in the Regenstein Center galleries where special illumination and slide installations will expose viewers to a visual feast of color, light, shade, and shapes. Enjoy the Chicago Botanic Garden's Orchids After-Hours event with a cocktail and some light refreshments. Tickets are $12 for adult members or $14 for adult non-members; $9 for senior members aged 62 years and older or $11 for senior non-members. Children can attend for $9 for members and $11 for non-members. Children under 2 may enter for free.
Last admittance will be at 7:30 pm. This event will also be staged on February 20th and February 27th and Thursdays in March includes the 5th, 12th, and 19th. The Garden Shop will be open late on Thursdays and will feature special discounts during the event. Wondering what is on the event menu?
