With cold weather still looming, Glencoe's Watts Center has the perfect solution to your winter blues. Located just 30 minutes north of Chicago, Glencoe's Watts Center, at 305 Randolph Street, boasts two ice rinks a sledding hill, pro shop, snack stand and rec room that can be rented out for special events. Take advantage of wintertime fun at the Watts Center from November through March!
The Watts Center sits on 3 acres of green space known as Watts Park, a favorite of Glencoe residents for its three tennis courts, a disc golf course, and several soccer fields. The center's outdoor ice skating rink provides figure skating lessons, regular skate sessions and regulation hockey play in the wintertime. You can enjoy a warm drink from the center's concession stand and lace up your skates in the rec room.
Situated next to the Watts Center's ice rinks, the sledding hill provides kids and adults alike with loads of downhill fun when its snowy outside. On Monday, January 13th, beginning at noon, why not give ice skating at the Watts Center a try? Skate rental is only $4 per adult or child and admission is $8 dollars per adult and only $6 dollars for ages 3 through 17 years.
