Placing People in Properties.
Getting the best price for buyers. ◆ Getting the best return for sellers.
"Most enlightening of all, Kim knew which place we should choose for our first relocation to Chicago, despite my hesitancy she was right!" Whether purchasing and selling equestrian horses to working first-class as a flight attendant to selling residential real estate in Chicagoland, Kim Korber prioritizes service and has honed a gift for discerning customers' wants and desires and identifying properties that match those wants and desires to a tee!
Expertise that Knows Property Values
Kim knows the value of properties and she knows the value of a dollar. She also knows Chicagoland real estate inside and out. Her years of expertise, knowledge of the city and ability to see a property's true value gives her an edge and gives clients CONFIDENCE. For sellers, it's pricing their homes to get a good return. Kim knows what sellers' properties are valued at and she'll get that price for them. For buyers, her knowledge of property values is essential as they navigate a very competitive real estate market.
Firm and Effective Negotiator
Kim demands and gets respect from all parties during a negotiation. There are two things she respects with her clients—their time and their money. There is no need to draw things out, and there is never a reason a client should pay more for their property or take less than a property is worth. Kim negotiates with both time and money in mind. Her clients' needs and wants remain top of mind from contract signing to closing.
An Educator and Advocate for Clients
Kim prioritizes client education throughout the buying and selling process. It's this education and communication that is critical to building trust. Kim's clients trust her. Additionally, she actively advocates for clients to keep others from taking advantage of them.
After obtaining her real estate license, Kim worked for a condo developer selling condos from planning to move-in. Kim leverages this insight and knowledge of construction and renovation costs to help her clients envision and plan for renovating homes they're considering for purchase. This invaluable knowledge and expertise sets Kim apart. Kim put this knowledge to good use when she oversaw the renovation of her own investment property and her flat.
Leveraging Relationships
Selling and/or purchasing real estate can be stressful. Due to her deep network of connections including attorneys, real estate colleagues, title companies, mortgage brokers, etc., Kim knows which levers to pull to resolve conflict quickly, quietly and to the advantage of her clients.
A Foundation of Success
Kim was introduced to horses at a young age. As an accomplished equestrian, Kim traveled the country scouting potential athletic horses to buy, train and sell at a profit from the prices originally paid. Kim even earned a scholarship to collage for her abilities in the horse world. From there it was on to service with airlines. These experiences laid the foundation for a successful career in real estate where she leverages her understanding of the market and property value as well as her focus on service to develop repeat customers who consistently refer their friends, neighbors and business associates.
Kim obtained the prestigious CIPS credential, which opened opportunities to both refer to and receive referrals from agents internationally. She lives in a renovated flat in downtown Chicago and enjoys travelling the world and sharing her life with her daughter and grandchildren.
