Meet Jan Smith

Jan Smith has been recognized as a top producer in the downtown Chicago real estate market for more than 30 years by the Chicago Association of Realtors. Jan was the owner/operator of J A Smith + Associates, Inc., a small, successful concierge real estate brokerage firm located in the heart of Bucktown. Her firm was later acquired by @properties. For much of this time, Jan was also a part-time resident of Union Pier, MI and obtained her Michigan real estate license during that period. Jan would often help friends and many of her Chicago clients in their search for a second home. When the pandemic came, she, like
so many others, retreated to Michigan. Jan began working more and more in Michigan and less in the city and has never looked back! She now calls Michigan home. She loves selling magnificent homes on the lakefront, sweeping country estates, quintessential beach cottages and everything in between. There is something for everyone in Harbor Country. 
Jan has been fortunate enough to work with many of her beloved city clients who are buying and selling in Michigan, as well as a steady stream of referrals from her city realtor colleagues. Perhaps the greatest complement of all is that Jan has been afforded the opportunity to represent many of Chicago's premier realtors with their own personal purchases and sales.
