George Schultz is Vice President of Brokerage Services/Managing Broker for @properties, Chicago's largest independent residential brokerage firm. George manages brokerage operations including recruitment, retention, training and sales for the @properties offices in Bucktown and Logan Square on the North Side of Chicago, and also oversees growth of the firm's two southwest Michigan offices in New Buffalo and St. Joseph as well as Michigan City and Long Beach in Indiana. He has been with the firm since 2002.
George transitioned from sales, opening @properties' Bucktown office in October of 2008, and has grown the branch from 40 licensees to more than 300 licensees generating over a Billion in annual sales. Bucktown has been in the top five offices in the entire MRED network based on closed sales volume for the past 9 years.
George has also managed sales and marketing activities for several large-scale residential developments in the city totaling over $500 million in new-construction inventory and was a sales associate on many others. Projects include: R+D 659, 2 E Erie, 6 North Michigan, The Legacy at Millennium Park and 4 East Elm.
He has served the Chicago Association of REALTORS throughout his career, as a member of the Board of Directors (5 years) as well as several committees (ongoing).
My primary goal is to help brokers make the best choices possible for their careers and their lives becoming true L.E.A.D.E.R.'s in the industry; acting out of Love with Empathy; being Accountable to themselves, their family and their clients; never forgetting their fiduciary Duty; serving as an Example inspiring those around them; and earning Respect by their actions.
George measures success by the growth and happiness of his brokers and all those around him by helping them to live their best life. I am grateful to work for the best clients in the world, my brokers, with the best management team I could imagine and the most inspiring mentors in the business in Mike Golden and Thad Wong.
Prior to working in real estate, George was a professional actor appearing in a number of plays, industrial videos, and TV commercials enhancing his skills as an active listener. He has a bachelor's degree in dramatic arts and history from Centre College in Kentucky, and a master's in fine arts from Purdue University.
George lives in Evanston, with his wife Kristine, also a successful REALTOR, and their two daughters, Macy (14) and Stella (12). They inspire him to be better every day.
