Pistakee Highlands

Located along the northern-most portion of Pistakee Lake, Pistakee Highlands offers residents plenty of opportunities for water activities like boating, fishing, and swimming.  

Lake Street Park offers public access to the lake, while many locals reside in waterfront single-family homes that provide private access. Nippersink Creek and several other waterways also wind through the Highlands, creating a striking landscape of marsh and wetlands.  

The Highlands are not part of a municipality, however the village of Johnsburg provides public services including schools, public safety, and recreation. And while there is no business district in Pistakee Highlands, an assortment of dining and shopping options can be found in neighboring communities.
