Manhattan

Located in the heart of Will County, Manhattan is an inviting community with a population of about 10,300. The village was incorporated in 1886 and maintains strong ties to its agricultural roots.

One of the most popular gatherings in Manhattan is the annual Irish Fest, which takes place in March and features live music, food, and drinks. For outdoor enthusiasts, the nearby Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie offers miles of hiking and biking trails, as well as opportunities for birdwatching and wildlife spotting. 

When it comes to dining, Manhattan has several restaurants, cafes, and bars to choose from, especially along Highway 52.
