Elburn

Elburn is located west of the Fox Valley area. With a charming hometown feel, the village is just minutes from the Randall Road corridor as well as I-88, which can be accessed from the route 47 interchange.  Commuters also enjoy easy transportation to downtown Chicago via Metra’s Union Pacific West Line, which has a stop in Elburn.

The charm of Elburn has not only attracted residents, but also Hollywood. The village has been the backdrop in shows such as HBO’s “Lovecraft Country” and Amazon’s “Paper Girls.”

There are several subdivisions in Elburn offering both attached and detached homes, as well as resale and new construction, many in close proximity to the Metra station.  

Between the Hughes Creek Golf Club, The Old Elburn Hall events center, and surrounding forest preserves, equestrian centers, and parks, there is no shortage of things to do. Other popular destinations include the two breweries in town, the Acquaviva Winery, Kuipers Farm, and Ream’s Meat Market – home of award-winning brats and pork chops.

Annual town festivities include Elburn Days at Lions Park, which kicks off with a parade down Main Street, as well as Run the Rails Race, and Veterans Day and Memorial Day parades.
