AI technology built into the @properties pl@tform™ CRM predicts when contacts are likely to move
CHICAGO (July 7, 2022) – According to the National Association of REALTORS®, 90% of homebuyers would use their real estate agent again or recommend them to others, yet agents on average only see about 15% repeat and referral business[i]. Why? As an agent’s CRM grows, it can be difficult to know where to focus time and energy, leaving many potentially “hot” contacts untouched.
To help agents focus on the right contacts at the right time, leading real estate brokerage and technology firm @properties has introduced MoveLogic™, a new addition to its pl@tform™ technology suite that harnesses artificial intelligence to predict which contacts are most likely to move.
@properties is currently rolling out MoveLogic within its company-owned offices. Eventually, it will be available to @properties affiliates as well as affiliates of Christie’s International Real Estate, which @properties owns.
MoveLogic’s proprietary model leverages hundreds of data points, comparing the behavior of the contacts in an agent’s CRM with the behavior of past homebuyers, sellers and non-movers. The model calculates a score, which then appears alongside the contact’s name in the pl@tform CRM – showing either a high, medium or low propensity to move.
The data used in MoveLogic is continuously refined based on feedback from agents. For example, if an agent reaches out to a “high” mover and that outreach results in a sale, that information can be fed back into the model to help identify additional signals that can indicate a potential mover.
“We’ve used move predictor software in the past, but we knew we could improve it and make it more user-friendly. With MoveLogic, the data points in our model are more relevant, our agents benefit from its integration with pl@tform, and the results of our beta test have exceeded our most optimistic forecasts for how this software would perform,” said Thad Wong, co-CEO of @properties.
@properties Christie’s International Real Estate agent Bryan Bomba was one of the beta testers, and shared his experience: “Move Logic identified a past client as ‘hot’ even though I had more or less written them off based on a lack of engagement over a number of years. I reached out, he answered my phone call and let me know he was getting ready to list his home and buy a new home – a conversation that resulted in $4.3 million in new business.”
