This includes establishing an effective pricing strategy, using her professional interior design background to stage the home for maximum impact, executing an impactful marketing plan (including traditional, online and social media) and reaching out to her extensive network of local contacts to help ensure a successful sale.

She then puts together and presents an extensive array of local market information and appropriate properties to visit. As a North Shore resident for more than 35 years, Jan has an in-depth knowledge of the geography, school systems, local businesses and institutions as well as a  list of excellent contractors, service providers and mortgage lenders.

Originally from Indianapolis, Jan came to Chicago to complete her degree in interior design and commenced her career with a commercial design firm in the city.  Following her marriage and a two-year relocation to Cincinnati, she and her husband, Tom, returned to the area and settled in Evanston where they raised their three children. Always a high-energy "doer," Jan's love of the area led to an active and ongoing involvement with civic affairs and non-profit work in the community.  Early on she was recruited to "give real estate a try."  She has never looked back.
