"Luck is when preparation meets opportunity," is a running theme in my professional life because it only gets truer the longer and harder I work. Preparation is the foundation of my business. I prepare by knowing the market better. Understanding the process. Continually learning. Showing up early. Outworking my competitors. With that foundation in place, I find that opportunities flow naturally.

Unofficially, I began working in real estate when I moved to Glen Ellyn from Toronto, Canada in 1999. Seeing rising real estate prices I searched out a prime lot with excellent value to build. Bit with the real estate bug, I bought and sold numerous houses and lots, including our beautiful family home, which I took completely down to the studs and rebuilt. I loved the buying and selling processes, but saw plenty of areas for improvement as a buyer myself. Today I am in the top 1% of my brokerage of 2,000+ brokers, working full-time with clients in Glen Ellyn, Wheaton and DuPage County.

I base my business on the idea that luxury in real estate is all about my client's experience. Whereas some refer to luxury real estate based on property values, for me, every one of my clients is treated equally and to the same five-star service. Buying or selling real estate is one of life's biggest decisions, and I believe it is my privilege to be a part of the process. As a result, it is my job to be the source of the latest information, resources, and new ideas. And, much like a concierge, there is nothing I will not do to help accommodate my clients.

I have had the great pleasure of raising my two children in Glen Ellyn. They attended St. Petronille and Glenbard West, where I was an actively involved parent for many years. My family jokingly calls me the "Mayor of Glen Ellyn" because I always know what is going on, and love participating in our community's many holiday traditions. As a "hockey mom," I am also intimately familiar with our neighboring communities, having spent the better half of many months either on the road or in area hockey rinks. An avid golfer, I am also a member of Glen Oak Country Club.
