Sharon McIlhattan joined the real estate industry in 2017. With a degree in Finance from DePaul University in Chicago, Sharon has the business acumen and market sense to be the agent clients can trust to handle one of the most important decisions of their lives.
The one thing that continuously sets Sharon apart from other agents is her charismatic and approachable personality which instills confidence in clients that Sharon can get the job done right and in a timely manner.
In addition to her professional experience as a broker for commercial insurance, Sharon also brings a lot to the table with her personal experiences in real estate. Over the years, she has owned and rented multiple properties including a co-op, condo, house, and a vacation property in multiple locations. As a result, she understands both sides of a transaction and knows how to make the process a smooth and enjoyable experience for her clients.
Prior to joining the real estate industry, Sharon refined her client services and sales skills as a commercial insurance broker. Throughout that time, she learned the ins and outs of negotiations and transactions, which seamlessly transition into skills necessary to make clients' relationships and real estate dreams come true.
When not out conquering the real estate world, Sharon is enjoying golf, walking the lakefront, or traveling with family and friends.
Sharon has been married for 38 years with kids, including triplets, and currently resides in the Gold Coast neighborhood. An expert relocator, Sharon grew up in the southwest side of Chicago, raised her family in Park Ridge, and also lived in the Old Town neighborhood as a young professional.
