Leah Hamilton
Loves Chicago.
I was born in Chicago, with Sandburg Village being my first home. Here, my interest in real estate was first piqued, watching in wonder as the world-renown Hancock building was built to towering heights before my eyes. My next move was to Iowa for college, but I returned to Chicago to earn a master's degree in Arts Management. I raised my own kids in the city as well, spending their early days in and around Lincoln Park and taking advantage of all the city has to offer. My next adventures included owning and restoring a turn-of-the-century Victorian home on the North Side and co-founding and running a successful West Loop business. I am currently a South Loop resident and own a condo in a flagship Museum Park high-rise, where I thrive on building relationships with my neighbors and in the community.
Which brings me to you. You have lots of choices when buying, selling, renting or leasing property, especially in the ever-expanding digital realm. Yet creating a process that makes it easier is far more complex than most would like it to be. Digital tools, while powerful, will certainly never compare to the personal touch, knowledge or insights that are crucial to a successful transaction and an enjoyable journey. That's where I come in... The real estate business is a service business, and my focus on serving and educating my clients is what sets me apart. My main strengths include a passion for listening to your specific needs; analyzing and identifying the current market; and the ability to move quickly in order to find the right properties for you; or to prepare the best marketing campaign to sell your home faster, which will save you both time and money.
As a business owner, I strengthened my sales and negotiating expertise as I operated my dynamic West Loop event space. And whether it be in preparation to sell your home, or visualize the potential of a new one, my art, interior design and architecture experience, as well as my rehab work with lofts, commercial spaces, condos, large homes and vacation retreats, are an added wealth of knowledge that my clients find valuable.
I thrive on building relationships. So, it should be no surprise that I have built a deep, powerful and rarely paralleled network of contacts that turbo-charges my process and provides an "inside scoop" as I help you find a new property or sell one. Through my time-built network, I can also provide you with top tier contractors, attorneys, lenders, stagers, movers and other vendors I can recommend, to help facilitate the various stages of your purchase or sale.
As a proud Chicago native, I have developed an extensive knowledge of the city's diverse housing and commercial market. My focus is the South Loop, Loop, West Loop and the Northside, but I do know the ins and outs of all the city's neighborhoods.
In my free time, I enjoy cooking, creating art, Pilates, Barre Method, interior design, traveling and walks along the Lakeshore and Grant Park with my Greater Swiss Mountain dog, Gracie.
Please reach out to me with any question, big or small. If you're ready to buy, sell or even if you're simply curious… let's talk about your next move!
