Darcy grew up in the North Suburbs of Chicago. She graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Journalism. After college, she spent a few years in Washington DC, and eventually found her way back to Chicago. She currently lives in Deerfield. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, three-month-old son, and their rescue dog Vanna.
