There is a lot of pride that goes into assisting people find or sell their home, a true sense of helping and educating buyers and sellers is what drew Amanda to this profession.
Amanda started her real estate career in the down market. During this time she worked diligently negotiating short sales with the bank on behalf of sellers, buyers, and attorneys. Over the course of 2.5 years Amanda negotiated and successfully closed over 150 short sales in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. Once the market started improving, Amanda shifted her focus to traditional real estate. At that time she partnered with a senior agent and worked to close over 40 million in 5 years. The 2 person team was consistently in the top 2% of brokers in the Chicago Market. Amanda has a wealth of experience with all ranges of buyers and sellers: luxury clients 4 million plus, first time home buyers, and new development purchases. She has now moved on in pursuit of creating her own business with @properties.
Prior to real estate Amanda worked in banking and outside sales. She is a graduate from Central Michigan University; received her degree in Business Administration with a focus in Management and Finance. Amanda has spent free time in the last 3 years on Forward Momentum's fundraising committee, raising money for children to attend a summer long camp in Hamilton Park Fieldhouse in Englewood.
