Kathie puts her deep knowledge of Chicago's many vibrant neighborhoods to use. She is an expert in Chicago schools both public and private and actively gives back to her community through organizations like the Friends of Coonley — where she served on the board for nine years — and as an ardent supporter of other local organizations. A long-time resident of Chicago's North Side, she has split her time between Lincoln Park, North Center, and Roscoe Village—where she lives with her three growing boys.
