THE TRAILBLAZER

Within months of joining a top-selling Lincoln Park real estate team in 2009, Kirste (KEER-stuh) Gaudet sold her first listing for just under $3 million. That's Kirste: dive in, make a splash, finish strong and leave an impression. Entrepreneur, sales pro and design expert all rolled into one package; Kirste's unique background and demonstrated success make her an exceptional choice whether you're buying, selling or seeking a high-end luxury rental.

KIRSTE'S MARKET

Kirste specializes in Chicago's luxury residential real estate market – concentrated in the Gold Coast, Lincoln Park, Lake View, Lincoln Square, North Center, Bucktown, Wicker Park and Ukrainian Village neighborhoods.

EXPERIENCE AND EXPERTISE

A native of Bloomfield Hills and Grosse Pointe, Michigan, Kirste has called Chicago home since graduating from the University of Wisconsin at Madison with a degree in interior design. Prior to her foray in real estate, Kirste operated retail outlets for Oscar de la Renta perfumes in each of Marshall Field and Co.'s 17 stores across Chicagoland. Kirste oversaw the development and deployment of product promotions that secured over $2.5 million in sales.

Kirste and her husband, Dave, own ComedySportz – an established improv comedy theater in Lincoln Park. They are also the proprietors of On-Cue – a creative solutions company that produces live multimedia shows for major corporations internationally.

Kirste's strong sales experience, statistical skills and affinity for Chicago's rich residential architecture attracted her to the real estate industry, and it has been a perfect match. Kirste excels at market analysis for individual clients, ensuring that they get the best value for their home. Her eye for design allows her to walk into a home and quickly envision how the space can be refigured or stylized. Kirste understands that buying or selling a home is one of life's most sentimental transactions. It is quite the journey to find the right house at the right price. Kirste is with you every step of the way to ensure a smooth transition.

PERSONAL BACKGROUND

Kirste and her husband now live quietly in the home they raised three children in over the past 25 years. Her two boys, William and Grant, played in the Jet's Hockey Club at Johnny's Ice House, and played varsity hockey and lacrosse at St. Ignatius College Prep. Kirste's daughter, Morgan, was a varsity sailor at St. Ignatius, and briefly sailed D1 at Hobart William Smith College. Grant would go on to attend Miami University in Ohio, and William stayed in the city to attend Loyola University Chicago. All three children went to St. Clement School in Lincoln Park for their K-8.

Kirste is a long-time member of Midtown tennis club, as well as the Saddle and Cycle Club. She is an avid tennis player (when her body isn't unexplainably sore) and takes frequent trips to a summer home in Harbor Springs, Michigan, where her father lives.

Kirste adores the city of Chicago and its many architectural wonders, and she loves being married to an entertainer and devoted father who has realized his dream of playing on a hockey team with his adult sons.
