PHILOSOPHY
Greer readily admits her philosophy has changed as the business has evolved. She knows if knowledge is a thirst quencher, technology has changed the straw to a fire hose, often not satisfying one's thirst. "It's imperative that my clients have enough information to make an informed decision, but it's also my obligation to help them harness the data so they feel they have an authentic connection".
PERSONAL
An Oak Park native, Greer knows that architecture is an important part of what unifies a community. The historic nature and diversity in housing stock are of special interest to her, as her childhood home is on the 300 block of Forest Avenue, in the heart of the Frank Lloyd Wright Prairie School of Architecture Historic District. Greer has participated in rehabs and restorations in both Oak Park and River Forest.
Greer is an avid environmentalist with an emphasis on protecting our Public Lands. Along with her deep appreciation for the great outdoors, she continues her fight to save our iconic wild horses and burros.
Yearly, Greer strings together a few days to enjoy a bit of skiing, both water and snow. A huge Blackhawks fan, she can often be found cheering them on at a local establishment with her childhood friends from Holmes School and Oak Park River Forest, HS. She treasures those long-standing friendships, to her, they are the foundation of what made growing up in Oak Park and River Forest so very special.
