A native Chicagoan, Janet grew up on the Northwest side in the city. She attended a CPS grade school then moved to the North Shore with her family for high school. Upon graduating with a B.A. degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, she made a beeline back to the city and has resided in Roscoe Village since 1996. In her free time, Janet mentors at-risk teens, is a founding member and prior board member of Impact 100 Chicago, is an avid gardener, animal lover and adores everything to do with the art world. Prior to her real estate career, Janet spent years in advertising -- on the agency side and selling advertising space. She also designed a successful line of jewelry that was marketed throughout the country.
