Ever since Stephanie was a little girl she has had a passion for Chicago. After school field trips to the Field Museum or Shedd Aquarium the teacher would ask the class to draw a picture of their favorite part of the trip. While most students were drawing pictures of dinosaurs and dolphins, Steph was drawing pictures of the beautiful Chicago skyline. She dreamed of living by the lake and loved the idea of standing below the towering skyscrapers and feeling small. As soon as she got the opportunity to move to the city, she did. While attending DePaul University located in the heart of Lincoln Park, Steph's love for Chicago deepened as she began to explore Chicago's neighborhoods and meet its amazing people. She was sure that Chicago was the city for her.
Before joining @properties in 2015, Stephanie worked as a fundraiser for Chicago's PBS station WTTW11 for 10 years. During that time she helped create local documentaries about Chicago's neighborhoods and architecture, and oversee the design and marketing for every product the station offered on-air. Coming from the non-profit world, Stephanie knows what it means to roll up her sleeves to work hard and work smart. Her degree in public relations, experience in grassroots marketing, and her network of friends and colleagues throughout the city are a huge strength in her real estate business and what she can offer her clients.
Steph's clients will tell you that she is a very good communicator and handles all aspects of a real estate transaction with poise and efficiency. She is a "connector" who loves bringing people together whether it be within a real estate transaction or outside one. She is quick to share her resources and team of lenders, attorneys, inspectors, and contractors with her clients to make their buying and selling process as smooth as possible. Building a lasting relationship with her clients is her main goal and you'll quickly realize why most of her clients end up becoming her friend.
As a singer she has been an active member in Chicago's classical music scene. She and her husband enjoy being new parents as their son Augie enters into toddler-dom and have recently moved to a cute brick mid-century ranch house in the Budlong Woods neighborhood after having lived in the Rogers Park neighborhood for 13+ years.
In addition to the northside, she has helped clients buy and sell in numerous other areas of the city as far south as Hyde Park and Beverly and as far West as Harwood Heights and Oak Park. She also works in the Evanston, Niles, Skokie, and Lincolnwood area.
