Karen accomplishes this through her honesty, integrity, dedication, attention to detail, responsiveness, and positive approach. She will keep you informed of current local trends using the latest market data concerning your community. Real Estate is in her blood. Karen's father was a lifelong realtor and past President of the Omaha Board of Realtors.
Knowledge of the neighborhoods on the north side of Chicago and the local schools as well as the selective enrollment process is Karen's strong suit. She is also very well informed about private school options in the city. She has first-hand experience with the city parks and park district programs through years of watching Welles Park baseball games and AYSO soccer games and driving to practice fields all over the city's north side.
When not working, Karen loves going to the movies and has invested in the production of films by independent directors. She also enjoys playing tennis, golf, paddle tennis, biking, and skiing.
Karen believes in giving back to the community. Currently she is an Old Town School of Folk Music volunteer and The Saints (volunteers for the Performing Arts). In addition, she attends multiple fundraising events for various causes throughout the year. She volunteered regularly at Walter Payton College Prep where both of her kids attended high school; most notably, running the spirit wear sales for the school and chaperoning Sweetness Day service trips. She also has volunteered for Habitat for Humanity and after each closing, she will make a donation to @gives back.
Karen lives in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago. You may see her walking her dog, Nellie, around the neighborhood with her husband and two grown children.
