Working with my brothers in our family business taught me a customer can go anywhere for your product, what is your unique that keeps them coming to you? It's about how you treat people. Your relationship with clients goes past the transaction.

Being the youngest of seven, I learned that everyone has a role they need to perform and, everyone needs to work together to make things happen. Your work ethic needs to be there until the job is done, not when you clock-out. It's funny how I complained working those long hours at a young age, yet it is everything I am grateful for today.

When my father was looking for a house, the Realtor asked him what kind of house are you looking for? He said, "I want a house that when I'm happy I can go home to and, when I'm stressed, I can go home to." You don't find those kinds of answers by asking how many bedrooms or square feet you're looking for. You really have to dive in and get to know the customer to truly help them.
