Jorge Abreu is Vice President of Brokerage Services/Designated Managing Broker for @properties, where he manages brokerage operations including sales, training, retention and recruitment for @properties' Highland Park and Glencoe offices. He has been with the firm since 2012.
He transitioned from sales into management in August 2019, and has led an already established Highland Park office to more than doubling its sales volume in just 2 years. He has also overseen the new (2020) Glencoe office quickly becoming #1 in that market.
His primary objective is helping brokers achieve their goals and leading a collaborative office that operates with professionalism, optimism, and kindness. While everyone knows that few things excite him more than a good set of market data, what he truly values are his relationships with brokers and helping them succeed individually and as a group.
Prior to his real estate career, Jorge worked as a consultant and recruiter for a large multinational accounting and consulting firm. He has a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana.
Jorge lives in Highland Park with his wife Kristen and their children Alex, Natalie and Adam.
