There is nothing more rewarding to Lisa Reznick than seeing the look on a buyer's face when she has found them the perfect home.
Reznick, a broker with @properties Christie's International Real Estate, has worked in real estate since 2011 and has been an @properties Christie's International Real Estate Top Producer since 2013
She had been an S&P trader in the trading pits at The Chicago Mercantile Exchange for over 20 years when she realized she needed to change careers. "I learned a lot about the economy, business, negotiating value, and working well under pressure and stressful situations," she says. "But real estate seemed like a natural for me. I love Chicago and real estate, and I understand and enjoy the diversity of all the different neighborhoods."
Reznick grew up on the North Shore and has lived in the city for years—first in Lincoln Park then in the Gold Coast and now in Old Town. The buyers, sellers, and investors she represents in the surrounding areas of Chicago and throughout the North Shore say she has a talent for understanding their needs and wants.
Whether she is working with a renter or a seven-figure client, she makes them all feel as if they are the only one. "I love being the point person from start to finish," she says.
Reznick knows the market well and has an eye for value, as well as strong negotiating skills and a great team of attorneys, lenders, inspectors and contractors to assist clients with all of their real estate needs.
She is a graduate of the University of Maryland and received her MBA from Loyola University. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her teenaged son, volunteering at the non-profit organization Care for Friends, and also volunteering at her son's school. She loves to check out new restaurants or shows, and enjoys traveling and working out or biking along the lakefront with her son, who attends Walter Payton College Prep.
