As a real estate agent, Deborah Libby has the privilege and excitement of guiding clients through one of life's biggest decisions–where to live; a responsibility she doesn't take lightly. "My superpower is my ability to tune in to what my clients are asking for," she says, "I help them zero in on what is truly important to them while suggesting possibilities they may not have considered." Deborah considers herself a true partner and advisor to her clients, sharing the latest market research, neighborhood trends, and insider tips.

Prior to becoming a real estate agent, Deborah earned a degree in graphic design and worked in Seattle's tech industry for nearly 20 years, gaining knowledge in online marketing and website development before moving into project management at one of the world's largest technology companies. As a project manager, she excelled at leading global teams in developing projects with fast-moving details and deadlines. Her transition to real estate felt like a culmination of these experiences, drawing on her ability to cut through complexity and forge a clear path. Deborah considers good communication to be the foundation for all successful relationships and makes a point to keep her clients informed and involved every step of the way.

In 2014, she relocated to Chicago to attend graduate school at Northwestern University where she studied documentary media and worked behind the scenes on several local film productions. With a mind for operations and a gift for storytelling, Deborah is able to connect the dots for her clients and make the process of home-buying less intimidating and more enjoyable.

Deborah is now 10 years into her love affair with Chicago and its incredible neighborhoods, and delights in working with those who are relocating to the area as well as seasoned locals. She and her husband are proud homeowners in the Rogers Park neighborhood, active in supporting local businesses and community events. In her spare time, you will find her walking the lakefront, exploring local antique shops, and shopping for produce at the Evanston farmers market. As the newest member of the Scott Stavish Group, Deborah is backed by an experienced team of real estate professionals who have been involved in over 900 transactions totaling more than $400 Million in sales over the past 20 years.
