With over two decades of experience helping buyers and sellers navigate the complexities of Chicago's city market, Katie Deeley knows the importance of listening rather than simply hearing when it comes to what matters most to them. Client testimonials laud her patience and honesty, the hallmarks of a broker who truly puts her clients first.
Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, Katie is an Arizona State University alumna whose career began at Farm Bureau, where she sold life, health, and property-casualty insurance. Her position required spending quality time with policyholders on their large working farms and ranches, which allowed her to build long-lasting relationships with clients who became like family. She relocated to Chicago in 1998, purchasing her first condominium two years later in the West Loop. The thrill of that experience and her talent for building client relationships inspired her to earn her real estate license soon thereafter.
Katie specializes in condominiums and single-family homes on Chicago's Northside. Her personal experience as a resident of many of its neighborhoods well enables her to showcase what they offer. Her extensive collaboration with property developers informs her ability to assess the quality and caliber of construction. Clients appreciate this kind of in-depth knowledge as well as Katie's penchant to respond to questions and concerns regardless of the time of day or night.
Katie lives in East Lakeview and enjoys the city's rich cultural and social offerings with her daughter. She serves as an officer on the board of directors for the House of the Good Shepherd, which offers a safe haven for women and children affected by domestic violence. In addition, she sits on the board of advisors of the Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago and the advisory board of the Catholic Charities Housing Services.
