Mindy currently specializes in residential real estate and is the managing broker of The Shea Group. Mindy's husband, Don Shea, is VP of Management with @properties and manages the @properties Evanston office, Wilmette and Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
Mindy graduated from Georgetown University with a B.A. in English, and has completed her graduate work at the University of Chicago and most recently, Northwestern University. Upon graduating, Mindy spent years in marketing and managing advertising accounts in New York for Saatchi & Saatchi and then Campbell Mithun. With expertise in marketing, advertising, and negotiation, Mindy brings, experience and an informed approach to the buying and selling side of every real estate transaction.
Mindy and Don are 30-year residents of the North Shore where they raised their three children: Anne, Maggie and Drew. All three children attended Evanston public schools, as well as New Trier and sailed on the New Trier Sailing Team as captains and varsity athletes. Their eldest daughter, Annie, graduated Phi Beta Kappa from DePaul University with a degree in Neurobiology in 2009 and has five beautiful children and is a known Influencer with a blog at DIYMomdecor; Maggie, represented the US in the 2021 Olympics in Japan racing 49'ers for the USA Olympic Team and will be competing in the 2024 Olympics. Their youngest, Drew, recently graduated from Brown University, sailed for the USA Olympic Development Team, and moved to San Fransisco to work for Twitter and now works with a Bitcoin/Crypto start-up. The Shea's are avid sailors, and have enjoyed years of racing, as a family and with uncles and cousins, and together with their late grandfather on his Santa Cruz 70 on the Great Lakes. Don Shea also served at the President of High School Sailing 2009-2011.
