Victoria is one of the founders of Newgard Custom Homes, a new type of luxury residential building company that puts the client first and focuses on innovation in residential construction. At Newgard, Victoria is in charge of design and selection of interior finishes, and collaborates with clients to seamlessly guide them through the selection process. Victoria's keen eye for impeccable home design and clean lines and understanding of the needs of today's modern family is a valuable asset to real estate clients.
Victoria had a very successful legal career prior to adding real estate experience to her impressive resume. Victoria served as general legal counsel to Heritage Luxury Builders from 2004 - 2013, drafting and negotiating the company's contracts with clients, vendors and sub-contractors, and providing general legal and business advice. Prior to joining Heritage, Victoria graduated from New York University School of Law and clerked for the Honorable Judge Harry D. Leinenweber, U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois. After completing her clerkship, Victoria practiced law as an associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom for six years, working on various corporate, bankruptcy and litigation matters and as well as pro bono cases.
Victoria's passion for art and design have fueled her career in luxury real estate. Putting her extensive studies in art and design at the Art Institute of Chicago and the University of Chicago, Victoria spent nine years alongside her family at Heritage Luxury Builders, spearheading the design of custom homes and helping guide customers through the selection process.
Having grown up on the North Shore and graduated from New Trier, Victoria has returned to the North Shore to raise her family in Glencoe. Victoria is committed to better living on the North Shore and improving and serving its neighborhoods. Victoria has volunteered in many capacities in the public schools and other local organizations, and is currently serving on several charitable boards.
Victoria is a licensed Illinois real estate Broker and is a member of the Newgard Team at @Properties North Shore.
