As a principal of @Properties lone star Christie’s International Real Estate and a licensed real estate agent, Michelle brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and a deep connection to her North Dallas community. Collectively, she and her husband (a respected concrete contractor in North Texas) have over 30 years of experience in commercial and residential real estate and development. She understands the intricacies of the real estate market from all angles.
As a former Richardson Independent School District high school English teacher, Michelle brings her passion to educate and empower her clients to each and every real estate transaction. Through counseling and advising students, she learned the value of patience and listening to truly understand her clients' needs.
Following a life-threatening car accident in 2016 which left her daughter wheelchair bound, she has been a fierce advocate for auto safety. She worked tirelessly to update seatback safety standards and ultimately aided in the passing of a law which modernized seatback safety across the industry, realizing her goal of ensuring the well-being of families on the road.
As a proud North Dallas resident, Michelle led fund-raising efforts for the Children's Medical Center Plano hospital through founding the charity, Love for Children. LFC raised hundreds of thousands of dollars which directly supported the building of Children's Plano campus. While feeling a strong pull toward children's charities, her passions also include helping women achieve their goals. In 2015, she co-founded Women in the Black, a networking and personal development group.
Beyond her professional pursuits, she has a colorful background that includes being a former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, a Dallas Mavericks Dancer, and working for the Dallas Cowboys Football Club in sales and marketing.
