Raised in Birmingham's eclectic Poppleton Park neighborhood, Amanda has an appreciation for Birmingham and the surrounding metro area. She has an awareness that each unique home has its own story to tell.
After graduating from Georgetown University with a degree in psychology, she moved to New York City to work in the office real estate market as a leasing agent for WeWork. Providing office space solutions in challenging market conditions was a great learning experience in delivering outstanding client service. Her attention to detail and responsiveness to her clients set her apart.
Real Estate is in Amanda's family DNA. Her grandfather, Bill Petzold, developed the acclaimed Harbor Springs resort community of L'Arbre Croche. Her exposures to Poppleton Park and L'Arbre Croche have both impressed upon her the critical role that architecture and design play on the psyche and the formation of community. Privacy, views, and harmony with nature are at the forefront.
In Amanda's free time, you can find her taking a hot vinyasa yoga class in downtown Birmingham, lifting weights at the gym, or walking her sweet dog Leo around the neighborhood. Amanda cannot wait to meet you!
