Jameela Kallabat, a Detroit native, is married and a mother of five children—four boys and one girl. She graduated from Marian High School, and her daughter followed in her footsteps by also graduating from Marian. Her husband and their four sons are alumni of Brother Rice. Jameela holds a Master's Degree in Science Education, a Bachelor's degree in Biology, and a minor in Science from Wayne State University. She taught high school at Pershing High School before leaving the profession to become a stay-at-home mom.   Jameela loves to cook and makes meals for her family daily, avoiding mac and cheese because her kids, even though they are grown, prefer more substantial meals. She exercises every day and has instilled the importance of health and nutrition in her children's lives. Jameela values family deeply and believes that making memories at home is priceless, as family is forever.
