Bringing a particular "West Coast savvy" to all of her real estate practices, Dara previously excelled in the high profile markets of Los Angeles' famed "platinum triangle" which include the exclusive enclaves of Bel Air, Beverly Hills and Holmby Hills. Her many celebrity clients included entertainment industry elite, star athletes and Grammy Award-winning musicians.
She has remained a leader in Austin luxury real estate. She became the founding Broker Associate and Sales Manager of Compass Austin in 2018 and grew the office from the ground up. She has since transitioned to be the Founding Broker Associate and Executive Vice President of Strategic Growth at Christie's International Real Estate in Austin. This partnership helps Dara to serve her sphere of influence with targeted, upscale connections worldwide.
Dara is active in the Austin community and gives her time to a variety of charitable causes, including Dell Children's Hospital, as well as the Wounded Warrior Project - The Children of Fallen Soldiers. She and her husband are also Benefactors of the Texas Ranger Foundation. Dara currently serves as an US ambassador for the Global Wellness Institute - A non-profit organization with the mission to empower wellness worldwide. Dara lives in Austin with her husband, actor/producer Todd Allen, and their youngest daughter, Shelby. Older daughter, Avery Honigblum and son-in-law, Blake Honigblum live nearby in Alamo Heights.
