I originally hail from Bangor, Maine and spent my childhood in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. I relocated to Alexandria in 1963 when Tysons Corner was little more than an intersection of two country roads. I spent a few years teaching high school and then started my real estate career in 1968. In 2005, my daughter, Betsy, joined my real estate practice and we formed The Gorman Group. Since then, together, we have zealously represented buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants across Northern Virginia. Our knowledge of the Northern Virginia market runs deep and we work tirelessly to not only meet, but exceed, our clients' expectations. It would be a privilege for us to offer you our expert advice, personal service, and effective marketing strategies to assist you in your next real estate transaction.I am proud to call Old Town, Alexandria home. When I am not selling real estate, I am an active participant in the Alexandria adult rowing program, avid Wolf Trap volunteer, and enthusiastic international traveler, either planning my next adventure or just returning home from a great trip.
