Jean L. Metzler is a Broker Associate who consistently ranks as a top-producing Chicago Realtor and is the leader of Jean Metzler & Partners at @Properties. She has worked in real estate sales for 20 years and, prior to that, spent 12 years working in corporate communications, marketing, PR and advertising for many of the highest-performing companies in the world. Jean is also a host of the Emmy-nominated real estate and lifestyle television show, American Dream TV.
The marketing, persuasion, negotiation, client service and general people skills that Jean developed in the corporate world, combined with her genuine interest and enthusiasm for real estate, uniquely position her to succeed in real estate sales. She specializes in the purchase and sale of residential property (including rental property) throughout Chicagoland and its surrounding suburbs with more than 90% of her business originating from repeat or referral-based clientele.
Jean earned the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designation (the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation) and has been a consistent Chicago Association of Realtors® Sales Award Winner. She has also won multiple Five Star Professional awards and sales awards from Century 21 (her former brokerage firm), including achieving Century 21 Premier Agent status (a designation only bestowed on the top 1% of C21 agents nationwide). Jean has been featured as a Chicago real estate expert in a variety of professional publications and on television in HGTV's program, Good Buy/Bad Buy.
Jean completed a dual Bachelor's Degree in English and Psychology at The University of Redlands (Redlands, CA) and later earned a Master of Science in Communication Degree from Northwestern University (Evanston, IL). She is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Illinois Association of Realtors and Chicago Association of Realtors as well as the Multiple Listing Service of Northern Illinois and Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council.
