Correna was born and raised in London, England. Her career started in television and film production as a producer for MTV Networks Europe, Working Title Films/NBC Universal and The BBC. Having parents who worked in the travel industry, she traveled extensively growing up, and lived in Africa, Libya and Australia. She moved to Chicago in 2006 and now lives with her son and Australian Shepherd mix rescue dog in Evanston.
