Currently, she serves on the Valparaiso Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA), is an active member of the NWI chapter of NOW (National Organization for Women), as well as a member for NWIIWA and a 2025 Nominee for Influential Woman of the Year. In 2022, she served on the Porter County Tax Board of Appeals, and in 2023 ran for mayor of Valparaiso.
