Anne Connolly Rief's steadfast commitment to serving her clients and the neighborhoods that make up Chicago sets her apart in this industry. Chicago is a big city with a small-town feel, and Anne has the pleasure of living and working within this vibrant community, serving the needs of her clients throughout the city. This working lifestyle brings her to the market and the market to Anne. As an active broker for over 28 years, and a mother to four children, Anne has an authentic knowledge base about life in the city that she applies to every market value assessment, property valuation, and real estate transaction.

Anne has been a top producer* in the Midwest region for many years.  Today, she oversees the Anne Connolly Rief Group, a dedicated team of real estate professionals who assist in all aspects of the real estate transaction. The goal of ACR Group: to expertly shepherd their clients through often an overwhelming and stressful home buying and selling process. Anne expertly guides her clients through understanding the array of industry practices, considering and interpreting the most current market statistical data, assessing risk factors, and setting clear and concise plans to achieve the clients' primary and secondary goals.

Prior to becoming a real estate broker, Anne's initial professional training was as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the Banking and Real Estate Division with KPMG Peat Marwick. While at KPMG, she practiced in the area of audit, tax and mergers and acquisitions. She continued her financial and academic education at DePaul University, working towards her Masters of Taxation with a focus on real estate tax.

Anne leverages her professional and academic background to analyze market values and competently explain its intricacies to her clients. The real estate industry hinges on local markets, especially in Chicago, which is made up of diverse neighborhoods throughout the city. Acting as a consultant to every client, Anne understands market conditions and pricing, as well as utilizing her sharp negotiating skills—all of which give her clients the decisive edge. Working with Anne takes out the "unknown factor" often associated with real estate—as she expertly manages the transaction from beginning to end.

In addition to several regional performance awards, Anne has been recognized by the Chicago Association of REALTORS® (CAR) with the Bronze Eagle award for being in the *Top 1 Percent of all Chicago Association of REALTORS® agents, as well as their award for outstanding performance for the number of closed transactions.*

Anne resides in North Center with her husband and children. She enjoys the city life and is always able to provide advice about where to go and what to do in Chicago: from the best dining experiences with (and without) your kids to the latest on the music scene. Martyrs, in North Center, Space – in Evanston, Thalia Hall – in Pilsen, The Salt Shed and of course, Wrigley Field, are just a few of her favorite venues!

Anne believes strongly in community involvement. She has served on various fundraising committees and now actively supports the Lincoln Park Community Services. LPCS is Lincoln Parks largest privately funded homeless shelter and comprehensive social service agency.   She also commits her time and energy to Saint Clement Parish & School, and Saint Ignatius College Prep. She has been an active committee participant - as well as financially sponsoring - large community street festivals such as BenFest and the Irish Christmas Market. She also actively supports: Catholic Charities, Mercy Home for Boys and Girls, Junior League, Gift of Adoption, Girls Supporting Girls, The Chicago chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Dynamic Catholic, and the foundation for the Moira Tobin Wickes Orthotics Department at Children's Memorial Hospital.
