Martine Locke moved to Indianapolis in 2010, via Chicago/San Francisco/Perth, Sydney & Adelaide, Australia. She's a proud Aussie who has been a vagabond since the moment she was born in the middle of Outback Australia to two parents who were on the run from the law at the time. Moving every two years, the idea of 'home' has always been incredibly important to her. After 20 years as a singer/songwriter, touring from one side of the world to the other, with 9 CDs and numerous awards under her belt, she decided to stop and create her home with her lovely wife & incredible artist, Jamie Locke, their two dogs: Luna & Ruckus, two cats: Skip & Toomaloo and two kids: Harley & Alayna, (now off on their own journeys in the world) in Irvington...a community that's very near and dear to all of their hearts.
In her first two years of being a Realtor, Martine created the workshop 'How The #!@& Do I Buy A Home' specifically to demystify the process of buying a home in a 'no question is a dumb question' environment. 24 families & individuals (and counting) have made their way into their own home from attending in the first two years. Her commitment to her clients & to this industry, has seen her achieve Indy Star - Best of Indy - Realtor in 2020 & 2021, Commitment to Excellence (C2EX) certification in 2021, At Home with Diversity Certification in 2021 and she joined Mibor's Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee in 2022.
Passionate about helping people find 'home', Martine works all across the Indy Metro area and specializes in helping you exactly where you are at, even if you're not quite sure where that is yet. Whether it be as a seller, first-time or repeat buyer, a community minded investor or someone who has questions about the entire process, She wants to be your person. She also likes coffee, bourbon, a good hearty laugh, good friends, traveling to see her family in Australia and the UK and exploring old houses. She does not like snow or avocados.
