Alex Irrer is the co-CEO of @properties Christies' International Real Estate, Detroit's #1 brokerage, Michigan's fastest growing brokerage, and the nation's 8th largest brokerage firm by sales volume (REALTrends 500).
Alex and his co-CEO Eric Walstrom founded Alexander Real Estate in Royal Oak in 2016. In 2018, they opened an office in Midtown, and over the next three years they built Alexander into the #1 brokerage firm in downtown Detroit.
Recognizing the opportunity to offer clients even more in the way of technology, marketing and services, Alexander Real Estate joined @properties Christie's International Real Estate in 2021 as the nation's first @properties franchise.
Today, @properties Christie's International Real Estate maintains the same local ownership but now offers the scale and resources of a leading national brokerage. Alex puts a heavy emphasis on culture, relationships and innovation and in just over 2 years the brokerage has grown their annual sales volume from around $100m to over $500m. Between him and Eric, they are in charge of the company's expansion and have spearheaded the opening of offices in Detroit, Birmingham, Northville, Rochester, Grosse Pointe, and Harbor Springs.
Alex was born and raised in Bay City. He now resides in Royal Oak with his wife Lindsay and their three children, Tatum, Luca, and Lennon.
