John joined @properties in 2006, he has been a licensed real estate agent since 2003 specialising in Commercial Investment Property, Lot Aquisitions, Development and Residential Development Sales. 

John previously worked for Equity Lifestyle Properties Inc., (NYSE: ELS) a self administered REIT an ELS with a controlling interest in 275 quality communities in 25 states and British Columbia consisting of over 100,000 sites. John has opened and managed several successful Chicago bars and restaurants including Hemmingway's Brass Rail, Cleary's on Clark and Fado Irish Pub. In his spare time, John & his wife Trish enjoy restoring old properties and spending time with their 3 children.

John graduated from the Dublin Institute of Technology with a B.A. in Management Accountancy. He is a member of the Chicago Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors and was previously a member of American Institute of CPA's and the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). John moved from Dublin, Ireland to Chicago in 1995. John is currently studying for his MSc. in Project and Programme Management.
