Formerly in the hospitality industry, Dave Straub started a new career in real estate in 2002 and cut his teeth as a Leasing Consultant, quickly becoming a leasing expert and the agency's top agent. Dave built a base of loyal clients whom he continues to advocate for to this day. 

In 2004 Dave earned his license to sell homes and joined a fellow broker and builder/developer and their small team which was part of the dynamic new company @properties, where he marketed and sold out several condo conversion buildings in record time. 

Dave continued assisting his longtime renter and investor clients as well as representing individual buyers and sellers, gaining invaluable experience and contacts while continually educating himself on changes and new technologies within the real estate industry. 

Dave has always adhered to a high level of customer service and, along with accountability, ethics and the fair and equal treatment of all, has been fortunate to gain many repeat clients; his online testimonials and reviews are a testament to that. 

A fierce negotiator and proactive advocate for his clients, Dave has over twenty years of Chicago negotiation and sales experience imperative to navigating the city's challenging and often confusing real estate landscape.

Dave moved to the Bucktown neighborhood on Chicago's north side in 1997 after several visits from his home in New York and has been fortunate enough to have experienced over a quarter-century of Chicago's culture, heart and soul. He is very proud to call it home. 

Dave has previously resided in Bucktown, Wicker Park, and Lakeview and has lived in the Lincoln Square neighborhood with his wife and two children for over 15 years. In his spare time, Dave enjoys hiking, cycling, live music, golf and all the amazing activities that Chicago city life has to offer, as well as spending lots of time with family, friends and his bestie, his pomeranian mix pup pal, Althea.
